Location
Situated in Avaavaroa, Vaimaanga, on the green, fertile southern side of Rarotonga the Hibiscus Homestead is only 3 minutes walk from a white sandy beach and plenty of snorkelling spots amongst the coral handy to bus, local store, restaurants and a new Internet Cafe next door.

Accommodation
Hibiscus Homestead offers 2 bedrooms, each with en suite. One bedroom has a super king size high quality bed. The other bedroom has two x king single beds which can be zipped together to make a king size h bedrooms open out to private decks.

Dining & Entertainment
It has a tastefully furnished lounge and dining area with a beautiful view of the garden and the lush greenery. Just open the bi-fold window and feel as if you are dining outdoors. For real outdoor life the Hibiscus Homestead has spacious decks, both covered for dining and shade and open for sunbathing or moonlit nights.

Facilities
The kitchen is very well equipped including fridge/freezer, gas cook top and electric oven with grill, microwave, blender & toaster. The drinking water is filtered and there is an automatice washing machine and electric iron to keep your holiday wardrobe fresh.

For maximum comfort on tropical hot days the Hibiscus Homestead is screened and has ceiling fans in all rooms plus french doors and louvre windows to catch the cooling breeze.

To cater for different needs the Hibiscus Homestead has only a few low steps and also a ramp for easy access. In addition, one bathroom has a higher toilet.

Activities
Hibiscus Homestead is only 3 minutes walk from a lovely beach. Snorkeling areas are close by. It is also handy to internet café/restaurants and grocery store.

It is only 2 minutes walk to the bus that has a regular day time service. We also have a choice of 2 rental cars for our guests. The small car is NZ$35 per day and the small SUV is NZ$45 per day including insurance. Pushbikes, motorbikes & scooters are easily available from renting companies around the island.
